Lanka Kade Wooden Animals {Review}

Lanka Kade Wooden Animals {Review}

As you probably know by now, Florence loves animals. Last year while looking for birthday presents for her I stumbled upon a range of chunky wooden toy animals that looked like they were more than up for the challenge of surviving a one year old’s play while offering a whole bunch of play possibilities as Florence grows. We’ve used them in small world play, as prompts for some of our favourite nursery rhymes, Animal Matching, stacking, story telling… the list goes on.

Almost a year on and we’ve got rather a number of Lanka Kade animal figures. From a crocodile to a bumble bee, our collection covers almost every category of animal and I think it’s only a matter of time before we end up having the whole range.

As well as being chunky and easy to grasp for little hands, they’re beautifully designed, and made from sustainable materials with the conservation of our planet in mind.

At no more than £2.60 a figure, they make a perfect token gift for birthdays and special occasions. I like to gift them along with a related story book. As well as being available singularly, bundles of different animal types are also on sale. The jungle one, for example, was our first ever Lanka Kade purchase.

As well as animals, the Lanka Kade figures range also consists of transport & nature too. I really love the look of the emergency service vehicles and the bus and these are all on Florence’s birthday list.

I’ve bought all of my Lanka Kade figures from one of my favourite online shops – BabiPur as I just find their customer service to be second to none and they also have a whole host of other ethically sourced toys & other bits ready available too.

I’ve not been asked to write this post and we’ve personally purchased all of our Lanka Kade Figures ourselves.
