Is there anything quite like cosy winter evenings snuggled up in your jim jams watching Christmas movies and drinking hot chocolate with your other half? Okay so it might not be the most… glamorous way to spend your Friday evenings but it is getting blooming cold out there and I’m pretty sure I am not alone when I say it beats freezing your a** off in town waiting around to get into clubs. I don’t know, maybe I’m just getting old? Sometimes, I even put my pj’s on the radiator so they’re warm & toasty before I put them on… (Insert laughing emoji as I realise just how much I sound like my nan).
Any way, in celebration of Friday nights in my comfies, Hunkmellor kindly sent me a pair of their pyjamas to review. Now, I should start by saying that since falling pregnant with Florence over a year ago, I’ve pretty much lived in over sized men’s pyjama bottoms & Sean’s T-shirts at night. Now we’re past the growing bump & leaky boob stage though I was so excited to finally get back into pj’s that would actually fit! They arrived very quickly and were packaged in a beautiful branded box lined with candy stripes and a darling little note.
In light of the colder months ahead, I opted for the Koala Jersey top and matching pyjama pants as the design is just adorable and I love the ‘I give magic hugs’ slogan on the front of the top. They are light grey in colour are made from a knitted material, more like a thin jumper than a t-shirt which is ideal for this time of year and for any fellow co-sleeping Mama’s who forgo the duvet at night for the safety of their little one’s.
They are available to purchase on the Hunkmellor website for £36.00 for both items. I am always a bit hesitant about ordering online these days as I never really know what size to go for, but as a current size 12/14, the medium fits perfectly. The bottoms have the added bonus all Mums live for of two large pockets. I know right? And that’s not all there’s an elasticated waistband instead of those silly drawstring waistbands that should have give but don’t, meaning you can also take full advantage of the only-acceptable-at-Christmas quality street tubs and not become uncomfortable after you’ve eaten your weight in Strawberry Dreams!
They are wonderfully comfortable and would make a lovely gift this Christmas for any like minded Mama’s who’ve swapped nights out in bodycon dresses for nights in in front of the TV in cosy jammies! I’m telling you, once you make that change you will never look back. EVER.
P.S. *Whispers*. They also sell a range of sexy pants and other bits for when your cosy nights in get a bit… well… cosier…
*I mentioned before that I was sent these super duper cosy pj’s in return for a review. All thoughts are my own, I promise, and I genuinely would recommend them to anyone considering making a purchase.
