Gift Ideas for Baby’s First Easter

Gift Ideas for Baby’s First Easter

I can’t believe how quickly William’s first Easter has come around. While he is clearly too young to know what on earth is going on, let alone take advantage of the chocolate fest Easter brings, I still wanted to make him up his own little Easter basket to go alongside his big sister’s. I’ve chosen a bunch of practical baby bits from some of our favourite independent brands to gift him and I thought I would share them here in case you too are looking for some gift ideas for baby’s first Easter.

Hare & The Tortoise Muslin {GIFTED}

A while ago we were invited to be brand reps for MadPac Babies. They’re a lovely little independent brand who design and sell beautiful muslin cloths & Swaddles. We were gifted this ever so cute Hare & the Tortoise Muslin Cloth and I’ve had it tucked away ready to add to William’s Easter basket. It comes with a little story book too!

Rabbit Rompers

{GIFTED} William has two little outfits ready for Easter weekend, both in the form of little rabbit sleepsuits from two different shops we love. This first one I was gifted inside a baby hamper from the Baby Hamper Company. They do sell this separately too. I love the little speccy bunny!

The second one is this totally cute bunny romper from a brand I found on Etsy – Sparks & Daughters. The rabbit design on this one is grey and complete with a little fluffy tail on the back!

Real Rubber Ducks

We are really trying to shop a bit more eco friendly just lately and so when I saw this set of rubber ducks which are made from actual real natural rubber as opposed to plastic I knew they’d be perfect. Just like his sister, William loves the bath and these will make great little bath time companions. They come in a set of three (a Mummy duck and two babies) and I bought them from BabiPur here.

Cloth Nappy

Our journey into cloth nappies is going well so far, so I thouht it was time to add to our collection. I’ve stuck with Baba + Boo and chosen their Baa design in keeping with Easter. How cute is it?

Teether

If William is anything like his big sister, it won’t be long before teeth start rumbling and so I’ve bought this little bunny teether from Two Little Bears – a local brand I discovered a couple of Christmases ago. It’s available in pink, light blue or this mint colour.

DIY Sensory Eggs {GIFTED}

I’ve added a few little fillable eggs with things like Pasta, rice & bells inside to use as little shakers and some with herbs for smelling in our play. The eggs were part of a pack we were gifted by EduTopix and you can see what else we’ve been using them on the blog throughout the next couple of weeks. For more on how I made this little bundle of sensory eggs for William, look out for my tutorial coming up in a couple of days.

Jelly Cat bunny

Last but not least is his adorable Jelly Cat Bunny. Technically it’s already his, but I figured it’d make a nice addition to his Easter basket and a lovely gift idea for baby’s first Easter. It’s unbelievably soft!

Isn’t this just a great big basket of cuteness? It’s full of both practical & fun things we will be able to use time after time while at the same time supporting our favourite independent brands! Hoppy Easter!
