I am a bit of a face mask addict. You might have seen I went a bit crazy with my recent haul from Freeman Beauty who I recently discovered in my July Pink Parcel. I loved their Peppermint and Lavendar foot cream so much that I wanted to try out their range of skin care products too, so I logged on and ordered
one or two five. Here’s what I made of them.
A C A I P U R I FY I N G F A C E M A S K | I thought I would start with my favourite as, seriously you need to go order this one, like NOW. Unlike many face masks I have tried, you don’t need a whole load of it in order to cover your face, just a quick squeeze on to your hand and smooth over your skin and you can sit back and relax while it works it’s magic. With it’s blend of 8 antioxidants; Acai, Goji, Mango, Mangosteen, Cranberry, Noni, and Blueberry, it promises to brighten dull skin in just 15 minutes and you can pretty much feel it working. It also smells absolutely gorgeous, not chemically like so many do, and left my skin feeling super duper soft once rinsed off. Like all of the Freeman Beauty Face masks, this one comes in two size options – a handy travel sachet and a 175ml squeezy tube. Trust me, you’ll want the 175ml option. It’s fab.
P O M E G R A N A T E P E E L O F F M A S K | This face mask makes me nostalgic for the days when I’d sit and cover my hands in PVA glue, wait for it to dry and then peel it all off. That excitement when it finally dries is unreal! It is clear on application and smells great, again no harsh chemical scent and it works to gently purge pores and reduce excess oils in your skin. You need to apply quite a bit for full face coverage and it has a super gloopy consistency to begin with but I really like the fact that you can leave it on and get on with something without worrying about brushing your face up against your clothes etc! Plus when it dries you can still move your face.
H O N E Y D E W & C H A M O M I L E S L E E P I N G M A S K | Perfect for dry skin, this overnight mask is rich in antioxidants and is a must have for healthy and rejuvenated skin. With coconut oil as one of the main ingredients, it works miracles for rough and dry skin over night. It seems more like a cream than a mask on application and absorbs into your skin so you can leave it on while you get your beauty sleep and you don’t get messy pillow cases.
P I N E A P P L E F A C I A L E N Z Y M E M A S K | My goodness this is like a cocktail in a face mask. It smells like a pinacolada! Perfect for combination skin the 2 – in – 1 exfoliating mask clears away dull skin cells and leaves your face feeling refreshed. I’m ordering a few more of the sachet size of this one to take on holiday in a couple of weeks!
Have you tried any of these? I’d love to know what you think!
